Senior Accountant - French Speaking

Oversee and perform day-to-day accounting operations, including: General ledger management Intercompany reconciliations Accounts receivable monitoring and collection follow-ups Lead and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring: Accurate cut-offs Accruals and provisions Deferred income and prepaid expenses Provisions for doubtful debts Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the fixed asset register, including depreciation policies Guarantee full compliance with: French GAAP (Plan Comptable G n ral) UAE / Dubai regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax Manage and coordinate relationships with: External auditors Accounting firms Tax authorities Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial forecasts Provide financial oversight on: Receivables management Credit risk assessment Overdue balances and exposure Deliver advanced financial analysis, management dashboards, and reporting to senior leadership Design, implement, and continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls Act as a key owner of finance systems / ERP, leading system improvements and optimization initiatives Coordinate and support cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between finance and operational stakeholders Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) preferred Proven experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally within an international or multi-entity environment Strong knowledge of French GAAP is mandatory Solid understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax Experience managing audits and external advisors Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights Hands-on, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent in French and English
